What is Yone Venice known for?
Yone and Hermon’s bead shop opened over 60 years ago. Our online shop features their extensive collection of antique and vintage beads, jewelry and other treasures and collectables. We are excited to share this collection with a new online community as well as reconnect with their old clients from around the world.
Are you planning to add more items to your store?
Yes! This is only a small portion of our inventory. We will be adding glass beads, European, French and Japanese seed beads, African trade beads, Venetian, Czech, wood, seed, shell, and the list goes on! As we discover, inventory and photograph more products we will add them to our site. To receive notices of new additions please sign up on our mailing list.
Do you have a minimum order amount?
No.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Paypal and Apple Pay.
Can I purchase items with a valid California Resale License?
Yes, please send us an email and we will work with you to set up this designation on your account.
Do you accept layaway?
Layaway is available for purchases over $200. We require 1/3 of the total invoice amount at inception of layaway, 1/3 in 30 days and 1/3 in 60 days. Please email us for arrangements at chat@yonevenice.com.
Do you accept International orders?
At this time we are not accepting International orders. If you are interested, however, please send us an email.
How do you calculate shipping costs?
Shipping is free of charge for all orders above $99. Buy more and save! Our standard method of shipping is by US Postal Service, first class mail. For orders under $99 we charge a flat rate of $3.99. If you prefer Priority or Express Mail send us a note with your order and we will be happy to arrange this. We pass on the cost of express services directly without adding an upcharge.
Can I get more information regarding an item?
We will do our best to answer questions regarding any of our products. Please send us an email at chat@yonevenice.com. If you need more dimensions or photographs we will try our best to get them to you. Specify the item name and number you are interested in (i.e., Aquamarine Faceted Nugget Bead Strand (AQU_005) and what specific photos or measurements you need.

What are items under the Silver filter made of?
Our silver collection contains items that vary in their purity ranging from “fine” silver (95% - 99%) as in our Thai Hill Tribe and Israeli collections, to sterling silver (92.5%), and coin silver which is difficult to ascertain silver content especially in older tribal pieces. We label appropriately only those products that we are certain of what their silver content is.
What will I receive if I add my email address to your mailing list?
You will receive early notification of special promotions, and when we add new collections to our shop. We know your inbox can fill up fast so we will keep our emails to a minimum, once a month or so. Also, you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook.

How is Hermon these days?
After 97 very full years Hermon passed away in August of 2020. Because of the pandemic visitors were not allowed to see him but his nephew was with him during his last days, and held his phone to Hermon's ear while friends and family said their goodbyes. Hermon's presence is still deeply felt, and we at Yone Venice strive to keep his legacy going in all we do online with our shop and social media, and in our efforts to give back with donations to non-profit organizations.
